Breaking News-First Session of Punjab University Medical and Dental College
We have a great and exciting breaking news for FSc Pre Medical and O-Level students who want to get admission in any reputed medical and dental college of Punjab province. As per media reports Government of Punjab has decided to launch Punjab University Medical College soon. This college will be affiliated with PU and probably with UHS too. It will offer both MBBS and BDS degrees. It is expected that more than 100 undergraduate and postgraduate degrees will be offered in Punjab University Medical College soon. This decision has been taken keeping in view the shortage of government medical and dental colleges in Punjab. Provincial government is committed to provide all available modern facilities to PU Medical College. Teaching hospital of several hundred beds will also be constructed to attach the Punjab University Medical College with it. This hospital will be free for all and will provide research and house job facilities to the students of its attached college.
Preliminary steps to establish PU Medical College are being taken by the authorities of PU. In this regard Professor Dr Muhammad Awais has been nominated as first project director of this great plan. Professor Dr Muhammad Awais has given an interview to daily Jang Lahore. In his interview he said that PU is planning to start first session of Punjab University Medical College as early as possible.
