ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 Schedule, Venues & Time as Per Pakistan Standard Time
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the T20 world cup 2024. The tournament is set to take place in West Indies from June 1 to June 29, with 20 teams participating. Pakistan has qualified for the group matches and will be looking to put on a good show in West Indies. Pakistan and India are set to face off on 9th June, 2024. The final of the tournament will be played on 29 June, 2024 at the Kingston Oval ground of Barbados.
Introduction
The tournament will be played in two phases i.e group matches and super 8 round. Majority of the matches of T20 world cup 2024 will be day and night. Group Stage or Round One
The group stage of the T20 World Cup 2024 will be played from June 1 to 19 2024. A total of 20 teams will be competing in the round one i.e Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, New Zealand, Namibia, Canada, Namibia, Oman, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea, West Indies, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, South Africa and Nepal. You may call this round the qualifying round. Out of 20, best 8 team will play in super 8 stage. Fans place a lot of expectations on their team while the status of the team depends on its performance.
Super 8 Stage
In super 8 round top two teams from each group will qualify. This super 8 round will start from 19 June and continue till 25th June, 2024. Everyone is waiting for Indo-Pak match and this match will be played on June 9th at New York.
Semi finals will be played on 26 and 27 June, 2024.
