How you can Apply for Admission 2023 in Punjab University Lahore?
All those candidates who are in a seek to apply for the admissions; they can download the application form straight by visiting www.admission.pu.edu.pk. Admission application forms are already available online from September 0th, 2023. You have to attach all the documents with the application form in the scanned format by the last date of September 0th 2023. Once the closing date comes to an end, no applicant will be allowed to submit their application forms.

 

Application fee is Rs.500 which you have to submit in Habib Bank limited in any nearby branch. Applicants will be inquiring about the interview session upon the final selection through entry written test.

 

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in MS/MPhil Program
If you are applying for MPhil or MS programs, then the qualification requirement has to be MSC/MA/BSC/ BA Honors or BSC Engineering with 4 years of education. Only those candidates can apply who have second divisions.

 

Eligibility criteria for Admission in PhD Program
If we talk about the admission 2023 in PhD, then the applicant should be in compliance with the educational qualification which needs to be MSC/MA/BS Honors/BSC or with BSC in Engineering with 4 years of education.

 

Students having a CGPA score of 3.0 are eligible to apply for the admissions. Third division qualification in any educational level is not acceptable.

 

Note: It is to be mentioned that the students who have finished their MPhil with no thesis/research work; they are also allowed to apply in the PhD program.

 

Requirement for Entry Test
For the entry test examination, both the courses of PhD and MPhil will have a separate entry test. For the MPhil entry test, weightage will be 50% and for the PhD test, the weightage will be 70%. 40 marks will be included when planning the merit list. 10 marks are of interview.
