If you have done MS or Mphil then you can apply in this award opportunity, this is the minimum education which is required from the applicants. You have to be the Pakistani or AJK national. If you are one of the full time regular faculty members then your maximum age limit can be 40 years. For the other applicants, it can be 35 years. On the other hand, they should only be one second division in your total academic degrees. In your HEC aptitude test which is the HAT test, you have to score 70% marks and you will not be eligible if you are availing other award scheme which is part of some other body.

It is on the e-portal of higher education commission of Pakistan that the concerned applicants will submit their form. The application processing fee is Rs 300 and it is non refundable and it has to be submitted in HBL bank in the favor of DG finance of HEC.

It is on the provincial quota basis that you will get selected. On the basis of HEC aptitude test score, your merit will then be drawn. Once you will complete your PHD studies, then you have to serve in the respective Pakistani university for at least five years and this is the bond and agreement which you sill sign before moving to the foreign country for your PHD studies.
