Admission 2024 Announced in Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) Deck & Engineering Cadets
Merchant Navy is not just profession but a lifelong experience. It is a great means of earning and learning both. The merchant navy employers get a worldwide exposure by traveling from border to border exploring the various arenas of the world around. Every year the marine academy trains numerous merchant navy officers and send them into deep waters all over the world. The 60th session of 2024-25 is announced by the Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA). The mariners can join the said either in the nautical or the engineering.
Who can Join Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA)?
Unmarried Pakistani Males who are not more than 20 years of age on 31st Dec, 2023 and have passed intermediate with pre-engineering can apply. Those awaiting the results are also eligible for joining the Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) and would be required to submit the result within given time. The age limit for FATA, Baluchistan and AJK is 21 years on the mentioned date.
How to Apply For Admission 2024 in PMA Karachi?
The admission 2024 forms are available from the office of PMA Karachi or can be easily downloaded from the official website of PMA. The fee of Rs.3000/- for regular admission 2023 must be submitted, while for self-finance students the fee has to be Rs. 300,000. The fee in both cases has to be submitted in NBP PMA Karachi.
Test Criteria For Pakistan Marine Academy PMA:
The written test will also be conducted by PMA soon. Candidates are required to pass the entry test with at least 45% marks. Once done they will have to appear for the physical test in the CMH located in or near their respective areas.
At the end of the two year training, the candidates will be awarded the certificates. The degree of associate engineering will be awarded by the NED UNIVERSITY, Karachi.
Important:
The candidates are being advised to submit a thoroughly completed application. Those found incomplete will not be considered. The students who have passed their foreign examination must get the equivalency from IBCC. The last date of submitting the admission 2024 forms is 15 Sep, 2023. Candidates who are over or under age, have studied the non-combination course or have been expelled from any institution on disciplinary grounds will not be considered for the admission.
