Govt Training College For Teachers of The Deaf Lahore has announced admission 2023 in B.Ed (Hons) Special Education and Postgraduate Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy. Both male and female students can apply for admission in this institute. Applications will be received only through prescribed forms for academic session 2023-24. Duration of MA Special Education program is 2 years and BA, BSc or equivalent candidates with 2nd division can apply for admission in this master program, but now this program is not being offered. B.Ed (Hons) in Special Education is a four years program. Candidates should have higher secondary school certificate or equivalent with second division.

 

 

Duration of PGD in Speech & Language Therapy is 15 months. Academic session will continue for 12 months and 3 months are reserved for clinical practice. Eligibility details for this postgraduate diploma are as follows;

 

MA/MSc (Special Education) or M.Sc Psychology with minimum 2nd division

M.A /M.S along with Teaching of Deaf Diploma with at least second div. Prospectus will be available from 0th October, 2023 and last date for submission of application form is 0th November, 2023.

 

This college is affiliated with University of Education Lahore. Three percent seats are reserved for disabled persons. Hostel facility will be provided only to female students from out of Lahore city. Prospectus and application forms will be available from campus from 8 AM to 3 PM till the last date. Application forms have also been given on www.gtctd.edu.pk. In service candidates are also eligible to apply but through proper channel only. No TA/DA will be given to students.
