Who Can Apply to Join Pak Army Trough SSC?
The male Pakistanis holding the citizenship of Pakistan and the domicile of AJK and Gilgit Baltistan can apply for the said posts if they are 28 years old on 1st May, 2023. The marital status is not significant. The male candidates who have passed BE chemical engineering can apply for corps of ordnance. Those holding MS or MPhil degrees are eligible to apply for army education corps.
Candidates possessing degrees from the HEC recognized institutes whether in Pakistan or abroad can apply if
- They have scored a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4 in semester system and 62.5% in annual system examination.
- They have not obtained any 3rd division or D grade at any level. One 2nd division is acceptable.
- 4 years degree is mandatory in said fields.
- The candidate holds the masters degree along with 2 to 3 years of work experience.
- The candidate possesses higher qualifications no matter if he was rejected by the ISSB for any armed forces twice.
The candidates awaiting the results would have to provide the hope certificate from their institution. The result of such candidates must reach immediately after the result. It is important to get all the academic credentials attested by the HEC.
Once the candidates get registered online on www.joinarmy.gov.pk between 0-12-2023 and 0-12-2023 they would have to appear in the preliminary tests starting in Jan 2024.
