Sui Gas Load Shedding Schedule 2023-24 Winter for The Provinces of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Winter season is coming nearer and nearer. Sui gas crisis has also arrived in Pakistan in this winter too. Now you will get gas only three times a day for cooking purpose only. Federal Minister Hammad Azhar has announced in national assembly of Pakistan that in the upcoming winter season domestic consumers will have to suffer. Gas will be provided only for cooking of breakfast, lunch and dinner at the limited fixed timing. Opposition leader in parliament has harshly criticized this decision of federal government about sui gas load shedding 2023, 24. He also informed that sui gas load management has already been started in various areas of country before the start of winter season in the month of November, 2023. In the morning gas will be provided from 6.30am to 8.30am. During the day time gas will be provided from 12pm to 2pm. At evening sui gas will be available from 7pm to 9pm. Sui gas load shedding will not be applicable in the provinces of Balochistan and Sindh. It means that areas under SSGPL – Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited will be exempted from sui gas load shedding. Sui gas load management will only be applicable in the areas under Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).
Already prices of sui gas have been increased. There is chances of more increase in future as government has failed to discover new sui gas wells. PTI government has also failed to import NLG as per the needs of country in winter season. Domestic users will also not be allowed to use gas heaters. CNG load management is also expected in December and January. SNGPL is still not ready to accept the news on sui gas load management schedule 2023-24 published in all national and local newspapers in-spite of speech by federal minister Hammad Azhar.
