Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and PTI government has decided to distribute birds among masses on discounted price. This scheme has been launched officially in Punjab province. Livestock department Punjab is going to supervise C,M hen farming scheme 2023. This scheme will continue for next four years. You will have to pay only 1180 rupees. Each applicant will be given 2 options. In first option one may get six birds (five hens and one cock) of 80 to 85 days old. Weight of these hens and cock will be from 650 to 700 grams. In second option you can get 12 cocks of 350 grams to 450 grams weight. Age of these cocks will be between 55 to 60 days.

Schedule for distribution of hens in the province of Punjab for the year 2023-24 has been announced. As per announced schedule about five lakh hens and cooks will be distributed in Punjab during the year 2023-24. Same amount of birds will be distributed annually in next four years. These poultry units will be distributed in 36 districts of Punjab. 600 to 900 units will be distributed in each district as per its population.
Application forms have been provided in the offices of deputy director livestock at Tehsil level. These forms are free and you can get it on showing CNIC. One form will be provided on one CNIC. It means a person can get just one unit of hens and cock. Application forms will be received in the same office from where these will be provided. Application forms will be received 7 days before the distribution of poultry units.
Do not forget to get receipt of your application at the time of its submission for future reference. Comprehensive list of all applicants will be prepared by the concerned department and this list will be displayed in the offices of livestock one week before the distribution of poultry units. In case of any mistake in the list, affected party me contact the deputy director and additional director livestock at the Tehsil and district level respectively.
In case of having more applications then the allocated poultry units for any district, lucky draw will be conducted. Divisional Director livestock will make a committee under him for conducting the lucky draw in presence of general public.
