Khyber Medical University Peshawar Announces M.B.B.S & B.D.S Admission 2023 in Public Sector Dental and Medical Colleges of KPK

Khyber medical university known as KMU has newly emerged with their new opening of admission session 2023-2024, where the students can apply for MBBS/BDS programs in their favorite public medical/dental colleges inside KPK. This admission 2023 is also for reciprocal seats within AJK & other provinces. You can check out the list of all medical and dental colleges from official site of KMU.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate can apply if he or she is having 65% marks in their FSC from the BISE board in Pakistan or in abroad. Making an appearance in MDCAT is also important where gaining 60% marks is necessary. In case of SAT II, candidate with 60% or either above score in all subjects can apply.

 

 

Merit Selection Criteria
Aggregate marks of the applicant will be all calculated as through the prescribed formula of the Pakistan Medical Commission & Dept of Health. Hence merit selection criteria division is:

 

SSC marks are 10%
Intermediate FSC marks are 40%
MDCAT or SAT II score is 50%

 

 

MDCAT Exemption Criteria for Foreign Students
Those students who have completed HSSC program in 2 years as outside Pakistan, those students can use their SAT II numbers instead of the MDCAT results. Weightage of marks taken into consideration will be:

 

Chemistry 40%
Biology 40%
Maths/Physics 25%

 

 

Method to Apply 
You can get the admission forms and apply online as by creating your account in www.kmuadmissions.pk. This is where your whole process of application will be completed. Enter all details related to personal and educational background. You also have to choose the category of seat which is based on FATA, open merit, APS, disable, minorities and backward areas. Applicant applying on self-finance seat has to submit a separate application form which has a separate fee.

 

You have to submit the fee of application processing as Rs 300 in MCB bank where you can print the deposit slip and attach the photocopy slip with form. Do not attach original slip.

 

 

Schedule for Admission 2023 Dates
Availability of admissions forms will began on November 0th 2023.
You can submit your form will December, 0th 2023.
Test for Quran will hold on December 0th 2023.
Provincial based merit list display is on December 0st, 2023.
Any claims related to provincial merit list can be submit on 0 Dec & 00 Dec, 2023.
On Dec 0th, 2023, final list of selected candidates will be shown.
Various categories placement is from 0 to 00 Dec, 2023.
