Breaking News About Winter Holidays Schedule 2023-24 in Educational Institutions of Punjab

 

The first phase of winter holidays in Punjab will begin on 23 Dec, 2023. During this period, 24 districts of Punjab will have winter vacations until 6th Jan, 2024.

 

 

In the second phase of winter vacations, 12 districts of Punjab will have winter vacations from 3 Jan, 2024 to 13 Jan, 2024. The Education Department of Punjab has issued the notification regarding the winter vacation schedule 2023-24 & has made it clear that no educational institutes will be given permission to change the schedule of winter holidays even for December tests.

 

 

Winter season in Punjab is associated with extreme cold weather conditions. The cold, dry air leads to smog & air pollution in big cities like Lahore and Faisalabad, which are a major cause of diseases during this season. And hence provide a real respite to the students, who can take a break from their hectic academic schedule & enjoy some quality time away from the books and classrooms.
