After so long years of wait, finally the hours of wait have been ended when Punjab Government came up with the announcement of Orange Line Metro Train Lahore. It is a proud moment to mention that Lahore has made itself to be the first city of Pakistan which is equipped with the service of Metro Line.

 

 

This project of Orange Line Metro Train Lahore was started by Mian M Shahbaz Sharif who was the Ex CM of Punjab. This project was started under the supervision of the CPEC in which all the funds were given through Government of China.

 

 

This whole train has been set up with the route which is around 27KM. 1.7KM has been based on the underground route and rest of the 2KM is completely elevated. The route of this train will be starting from Ali Town and its ending point will be Daira Gujran. Its total fare for the one way is calculated to be around Rs 40. The best thing about Orange Line Metro Train Lahore is that it has the capacity to cover the distance of 27KM in the duration of almost 45 minutes. Passengers who are at the station of MAO College they will be riding on the metro bus Lahore.

At all stations, the train will arrive after the time span of 5 minutes. In this way, passengers don’t have to wait for long hours to ride on their station. There is a special reservation of the seats for the special person, females and for the senior citizens. After every 1KM each station has been constructed. There are around 24 elevated stations as well as two under ground stations which are part of train route.

The route of this train will be starting from Ali Town and its ending point will be Daira Gujran. Its total fare for the one way is calculated to be around Rs 40. From 25th October 2020, almost 27 trains have started working for the public. On every station, the train will just stay for almost 25 to 30 seconds.

 

It would not be wrong to say that this Orange Line Metro Train Lahore is a real blessing for all those people who are residing on the Multan Road Lahore. Passengers will be recharging their cards over the computerized machines by using coins or the currency notes. You can use 6 tickets at a time via using these computerized machines. Once you have purchased the tickets, you will be given paper receipt.

Orange Line Metro Train Lahore will start functioning early morning by 6AM and will end at 8PM. Speed of train is 35 Milometer per hour.
