Why Iqbal is My Hero # 1?

We can divide the history of Indian Muslims into 2 era, before Iqbal era and after Iqbal era. Before Iqbal Muslims of Indian subcontinent had no aim or goal, they were in defeated mindset, but Iqbal turned around the whole situation. He made them realize that Muslims of India have separate identity and ideology. They are unique in their reality/nature and they deserve a separate homeland to enforce Islamic principles there. He did all this magic with his poetry only. His poetry has no match in the whole history of mankind. His poetry worked as catalyst and brought back Muslims to the world of hope and struggle.
