Government of Pakistan is keenly moving forward to improve the academics of the students. They are encouraging the youth to pursue the studies to maximum possible level. The young minds of Pakistan are highly competent and have the potential to move ahead for the good of the country and for themselves also. There are many youngsters who are genius enough, but they are not financially stable to carry on. To facilitate them and many others, the government of Punjab has introduced a scholarship program for those who want to go abroad for getting their doctorate. Chief Minister Merit Scholarships (CMMS) is a great helping hand. The government announced foreign-based scholarships for P.hD for the year 2024. The program invites applications from all over Pakistan.
Who are Eligible to Apply For PEEF & Chief Minister Merit Scholarships CMMS 2024?
The students who have a valid offer from any university amongst the top 50 universities of the world can apply for the scholarship. The candidate is required to show results more than 60% in all the examinations. Only those candidates will be considered eligible whose family income does not exceed Rs. 200,000/- per month. This financial status includes all possible sources available. The applicant should not be more than 35 years of age and must not have availed any foreign scholarship before. The scholarships are for the Pakistani nationals only. Both genders are encouraged to apply, but they will have to avail the scholarship in the year of application and would not be considered for the next year.

The candidates can get the scholarship registration forms from the PEEF scholarship website (www.peef.org.pk/phdscholarships.asp) or from the office of the said.
What Does the PEEF Scholarship Cover?
The CMMS foreign-based scholarship covers not just the tuition fees, but also the boarding expenditure and the airfare for the student living abroad.
Important Note PEEF & About Chief Minister Merit Scholarships CMMS 2024 For PhD Students
The faculty members currently associated with any of the educational institutions in Pakistan are not eligible to apply for the scholarships under the CMMS program. The candidates from the Punjab Province will be preferred, but seats are there under special quota for the deserving candidates from AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA too. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to manage his admission and the visa. PEEF reserves the right to refuse to any scholarship candidate. This right lies solely with the PEEF scholarship authorities.
