National university of medical science was born in the year 2016 for giving best research and academic facilities to the students belonging to the field of health sciences. The major aim was to carry out the centralized examination of the medical colleges in Punjab and then secondly to help the student earn post graduate degrees in the field of medicines and related fields.
NUMS University Post Graduate Admission 2024
The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) has announced the post graduate admissions for the session beginning in 2024. The NUMS University enjoys affiliations with the various international institutions and organizations also. In the upcoming academies session the admissions are being offered in M.Phil and the P.hD degree programmers.
The subjects available for the M.Phil degrees are anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, community medicine, molecular medicine, chemical pathology, microbiology, histopathology, hematology, oral pathology and dental materials.
The doctorate degree is being offered in physiology, biochemistry, pathology and molecular medicine.
Eligibility Criteria for PG Admission 2024 in National University of Medical Sciences
MPhil degrees:
The said degree is to be offered to the students who have completed their degrees in MBBS or BDS followed by one year of house job and then also holds the registration by PMDC as a practitioner. In case of molecular medicine if a non medical student has acquired 16 years of education and has passed the last degree with the related subjects, then he is eligible to apply.
PhD degrees:
For the doctorate level the students must be either M.Phil or P.hD or hold a degree in medicinal sciences equivalent to FCPS. A minimum CGPA is required in last qualification required. The candidate is required to have a score of 60% in subject based GRE and 70% in the NUMS GRE.
