Quaid-i-Azam University (old name Islamabad University) was established in 1967 under the act of parliament. University is situated in capital city Islamabad below margalla hills comprising about 1700 acres. About 5500 students are currently enrolled in university. It offers undergraduate to doctoral programs in various disciplines. Quaid-i-Azam University was first Pakistani university which ranked among top 500 universities of the world. 3-Aga Khan University, Karachi

Aga Khan University was established in 1983 by His Highness the Aga Khan. It is the largest and oldest private sector medical university in Pakistan. About 2500 students are currently attending the university. It is an international university with its campuses in UK and Kenya. University ranks among 250 top universities of Asia. Main campus is spread over area of 84 acres. Aga Khan University has two faculties i.e

4-University of Agriculture, Faisalabad

University of Agriculture was established in 1906 as first higher agriculture Education College in Punjab (Faisalabad) .It gained university status in 1961. NUST is a public sector university which is affiliated with HEC and PEC. It was established in 1991 and it got its charter in 1993. It is a multi-campus university spread all over Pakistan. Its main campus is in Islamabad with other campuses at Rawalpindi, Risalpur and Karachi. At present NUST is ranked 417th in the world by QS, UK. University of Health Sciences Lahore (UHS) was established in 2002. UHS was awarded “Best Educational Institute in health care” by World Education Congress Asia and best public sector university by HEC in 2013. 9-COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT)

COMSATS University of Science & Technology (CUST) was established in 1998. It is a semi government research university with multiple campuses in different cities.
